Wedding seating chart maker, with chair-level assignments.

Lay out every table, then assign every guest to a specific chair. Dietary tags appear right on the seat. Plus-ones get their own chair, not a vague +1. The chart exports as a clean PDF that the venue can actually use on the day.

01 · Per-chair, not per-table

Every chair has a name. And a meal. And a story.

Every other seating tool treats a table like a bucket: drag the guest in, done. LOML lets you assign each guest to a specific numbered chair around the table. That sounds fussy until you realize it solves three problems at once: parents on opposite sides see each other across, dietary tags surface at the right seat, and the venue staff can place place-cards without guessing.

Pick the shape

Round, rectangular, oval, head, sweetheart — set capacity.

Click to seat

Click a chair, pick a guest, the seat is theirs.

Dietary tags inline

Catering knows which chair gets which meal.

Plus-ones get chairs

Real chair, real meal, real headcount.

02 · Wired to the RSVPs

When the RSVP lands, the chart updates itself.

The seating chart reads live from your guest list. When a guest RSVPs no, their seat clears automatically. When a plus-one is added, an empty seat opens. When a meal pick changes, the chair updates. You're never seating someone who hasn't confirmed.

Live RSVP sync

Seats clear when guests can't make it.

Plus-one auto-row

Empty seat appears when a plus-one confirms.

Meal pick reflected

Chair badge updates with their dietary tag instantly.

Real-time multi-user

Both partners drag-and-drop the same chart.

03 · Day-of-ready exports

The chart your venue actually wants.

LOML exports a clean printable PDF with two views: the visual chart for the entrance, and a printable per-table list for the catering staff. Both are branded with your couplemark — they look like part of the wedding, not a spreadsheet print-out.

  • Visual chart PDF for the entrance and the day-of coordinator
  • Printable list per table, with meal pick + dietary tag per seat
  • CSV export of the entire chart if your venue prefers data
  • Re-print any time after late RSVP changes

Common questions

The short version.

Is the seating chart maker free?

It's part of LOML at $59.99/mo with a 7-day free trial that doesn't require a credit card. You also get the guest list, RSVP tracker, wedding website, budget, and the AI planner.

Can I have a head table or sweetheart table?

Yes. Pick the table shape (round, rectangle, oval, head, sweetheart) and the capacity, and we lay out the chairs. Most weddings have a mix.

What if my plans change after I've started seating?

Drag-and-drop to rearrange. Add, remove, or rename tables. Everything updates live and the export is always current.

Can I see dietary tags inline?

Yes. The tag (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, nut allergy, etc.) appears on the chair itself so catering can place the right meal at the right seat.

What does the venue get on the day?

Two PDFs: the visual chart for the entrance, and a per-table printable list with meal pick and dietary tag per seat. Plus a CSV if they prefer data.

Can guests see the seating chart in advance?

Not unless you publish it. The chart is private to you and your partner until you choose to share it.
